Day 0 - Atlanta

Our Grand Canyon vacation has begun. Roddy and I drove from Tampa to Atlanta yesterday to join Ginger and Nick, Paula and Jorge, and Myra at Ginger's house. We all pack, repack, make menus, share guide books, maps, and general excitement. Fortunately Ginger and Nick have done most of the legwork of making reservations and coming up with a tentative itinerary for our trip.  We had time to stop at a couple thrift stores, and found a good sunhat for Roddy. Ginger had some shoelaces, which I turned into a good hat tie. Tomorrow morning we get up way too early and fly together to Las Vegas.
